West Island Multiple Sclerosis Walk on Sunday, May 27th, 2018
Hi, my name is M.J.

Hope everyone is doing great today.

The reason for this video is to ask you for a favour.

On Sunday May 27th,2018, I will be walking 10 kms to raise money for Multiple Sclerosis. This is often called Canada's disease since it affects some many Canadians and we don't know why and there is no known cure. MS an unpredictable disease of the central nervous system (brain, spinal cord) that affects vision, balance, memory and mobility.

The cause of MS is unknown and there is no known cure. You may be wondering why I am participating in this walk. One fact that I was not aware of is this - every day three Canadians are diagnosed with MS. On Friday April 7th, my 19 year old daughter was one of those three. Sitting in the doctor's office with my wife Caroline and being told your daughter has Multiple Sclerosis is like getting kicked in the stomach.

So this is my reason for walking this year. My goal - is to raise $50,000. So whatever you can donate - will be greatly appreciated.

Go to my Facebook page at Facebook.com/50000orBust, follow my page and click on the "DONATE" button to donate directly online. You can use your credit card or through PayPal.

As an added bonus, if I reach my goal of $50000, I will tattoo the Montreal Canadiens Logo on my butt. Watch the video and you will understand.

Any donation will be greatly appreciated by all MS patients and their families. We are so close to a cure.
